Introduction
Revolutionary Socialist Party is Marxist Leninist opinionated party of India. This party was established on March 19 in year 1940. It has its base in Bengali-liberation-movement Anushilan Samiti along with the Hindustan-Socialist-Republican Army. Revolutionary Socialist Party got approximately 0.4% of votes and 3 seats in elections of Lok Sabha in 1999 as well as 2004. It is component of state government of Tripura as of June, 2011.
In state of Kerala, party is concentrated to area of Kollam having support among the fishing communities. The Kerala branch of Revolutionary Socialist Party initiates from a division in Socialist Party of Kerala. Mr. K. Pankajakshan was general secretary till 2008. He was KSP member as well. This party has just two seats in state of Kerala. In the state of Kerala, party is section of “Left Democratic Front”.
History
In October, 1949 Socialist Party of Kerala passed through division. A segment of its cadres as Mr. N Sreekandan Nair, K Balakrishnan and Baby John joined the RSP moreover built the branch of party in state of Kerala. Ahead of general elections of 1952, compromises took place among Indian United Socialist-Organisation and RSP. USOI which was an alliance of socialist assembly wanted the RSP joining its ranks but RSP declined. A incomplete electoral agreement then was made. The USOI helped RSP candidates in 2 constituencies of Lok Sabha in the state of West Bengal, however in further constituencies candidates of USOI along with RSP contested alongside each other. At the end 3 RSP candidates were voted, two from Bengal as well as one from the state of Kerala.
In year 1953, Mr. Jogesh-Chandra Chatterjee left party. He later rejoined INC (Indian National Congress). Mr. Tribid K Chaudhuri nominated as new party’s general secretary.
In year 1969, the RSP supporters in the region of East Pakistan created Shramik-Krishak Samajbadi-Dal. SKSD and RSP maintain close relations and alliance from that moment. Ahead of elections of 1977, a division of party in the state of Kerala broke and formed National-Revolutionary Socialist-Party. NRSP won election in coalition with Indian Communist Party (Marxist) which is also known as (CPI (M)).

T. K. Divakaran
Mr. T K Divakaran  was born on 8 November, 1920  and died on January 19th 1976. He was a Malayalam politician along with trade unionist as well as former Legislative Assembly of Kerala’s member. He was too Minister in E M S Namboodiripad headed Kerala Government.
Mr. Divakaran was born in Kollam on 8th of November, 1920. He studied up-to SSLC. After his education, he joined politics of trade union in Kerala. Divakaran became powerful leader of trade union in Kollam. He entered in active politics via the sector of Trade Union. He was alos an active member and part of State Congress in previous Travancore state. Divakaran was too recognized as a speaker.
He was imprisoned several times for the involvement in Freedom Movement, uprising, Punnapra-Vayalar etc. He was among Kerala-Socialist-Party’s (KSP) founder members and afterward joined in Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP). He too was selected to Legislative Assembly in year 1952 as well as in year 1954 and served as Kollam’sMunicipal Chairman, Central member of Committee of the b, active State President of the UTUC. He was Minister of the Public Works in Ministry of E M S Namboodiripad from year 1967 to 1969.
