Navbharat Times is the highest propagated and highest read daily Hindi newspaper of Mumbai and national capital, Delhi. Bennett Coleman and corporation limited published this newspaper. Apart from publishing this newspaper, this publishing house also publishes other paper such as Maharashtra Times, The Economic Times, The Times of India and also some magazines such as Filmfare and Femina. Navbharat Times is one oldest dailies of this publishing house. With a propagation of nearly 4.23 lakhs copies in the national capital, Delhi and a heavy readership of about 19.7 lakhs, Navbharat Times is the king among all these publications. Hindi, the second prevalent language in Mumbai, this paper propagates to nearly 1.3 lakhs copies in the area of the Greater Mumbai and enchants about 4.7 lakhs of readers as per the industry benchmark. This newspaper has been regarded as the number one paper in the different towns ever since its inception. The first issue of this paper struck the stands on April 3rd 1947, the year of Indian independence. During those days, it was the only publication for using rotary machines in order to produce the paper. A very thin staff consisting of only 12 people would produce a newspaper consisting of 6 pages. It was sold just for one anna only. This publication was managed by the renowned journalists of Hindi language and was regarded to the best thing of journalism. It was the first daily national newspaper in the language of Hindi during those days along with its editions in Jaipur, Patna, Lucknow and Kolkata. Nevertheless, this paper has now editions in Mumbai and Delhi. Upcountry edition of Delhi was closed down for giving more value to the users of advertisement though its website would provide services to the outside audiences. Its brand of Delhi is number one daily in Hindi, which reaches out to 2 million people of the national capital. It is a great source of medium for the classes and the masses. It is known fact that nearly 20% SUV owners of Delhi read this paper. This paper has risen to its zenith with Delhi and its habitants, thereby providing service to the desire for mobility in such a fashion, which is both positive and useful. The propagation is confined to NCR and Delhi only, thereby proffering a sharper focus on Delhi.
