Kannada Prabha is a daily Kannada newspaper in the state of Karnataka. It is published for the well-known publishing house, the New Indian Express Group. Its foundation was laid by Ramnath Goenaka. It was launched on November 4th 1967, with one edition having in city of Bengaluru. Nowadays, this newspaper, which is headquartered in the city of Bengaluru, is spread all over the state along with five other centers of publications. These centers are Goa, Hyderabad, Belagavi, Hubballi and Shivamogga. Since February 7th 2011, Vishweshwar Bhat has held the post editorship. This newspaper has won the impressive award of Karnataka Media Academy for its excellent designed newspaper for third consecutive time ever since the inception of this award in the year of 2005. This newspaper has become very prevalent in the state of Karnataka because of its simple and lucid language, which every native of Karnataka can under well.
