Maharashtra Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum
The Raja Dinkar Kelkar Collection is situated at Pune, Maharashtra, India. This contains selection of the Dr G. Dinkar Kelkar (1896 to 1990), devoted to storage of its only son, Raja, who passed away unfortunate terrible loss of life. The 3-storey building homes various statues going back to Fourteenth millennium. There is also a decoration created of cream colour, precious metal, musical technology equipment (a particularly excellent collection) War weaponry and veins, etc.
Collection
The selection was begun around year 1920 and then in year 1960 it included around 12,000 things. In year 1962, Dr Kelkar passed his selection to Division of The archaeology of Gorton within Govt of Maharashtra.
This museum now maintains over 21,000 things of which 2,300 as on show. These involve mainly Native Indian knick knacks from lifestyle and art things, mostly from Eighteenth as well as Nineteenth hundreds of years. The museum's selection represents abilities of Native Indian performers of time. One important part of this particular interest is "Mastani Mahal". Raja Kelkar created an effort at illustrating structure of the Mastani, (wife of Baji Rao Peshwa I) with remains.
