Shahi Jamia Mosque Kurnool
The Shahi Jamia mosque is present in Kurnool, in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The mosque is an example of the architectural and cultural heritage. The land where the mosque of constructed was purchased from Shahnaz Namina by Masood Khan by giving 2, 00, 00 dinars for the complete construction. The duration of the construction of the mosque took 33 months. The architects of the mosque are very good at their work and one can say this by visiting the mosque. In the front side of the mosque 15 black slabs can be found on which things about the mosque are written in Persian and Arabic language. The mosque also stands for its beauty and many visitors make a visit to this place for the architecture and the beauty it has. This mosque is special in the surrounding area and all the Muslims in that area came and visit this every week, there are also people who come here from various places in the country. The mosque is surrounded front side y the market, PN road, backside by a school, right side by a flower bazaar, left side by a shroff bazaar. The mosque on its four sides is covered by bazaar and this mosque is located in the heat if the town. It will be easy for the people to come and visit this as it is in the center of the city.
The committee of the masjid is running a school which is named after the founder Siddi Masood khan. The name of the school is Masoodia Arabic School and this school is located in the backside to the mosque. There are students who are admitted in the school and the school is running successfully with the students in it. The mosque and the school are well maintained and thus there will be visitors who will visit this wonderful mosque.
Climate
This town Kurnool lies on the banks of Tungabhadra River and the river flows throughout the city. The climate here will be moderate with summers being very hot. The winters will be moderate with the temperature not too cold in the city.
