Nandurbar is a municipal council located in the Maharashtra State of India. It came into limelight in February 2006 while Bird Flu was in full swing. Thousands of chicken had to be culled and buried in the nearby grounds to stop the spread of virus.

Nandurbar is bounded by the Madhya Pradesh on the south, Dhule to the West, Gujarat to the North, and the northern boundary is marked by the Narmada River.
Nandurbar has a total area of 5035 sqkms and a total population of 1,311,709 people.

The city also boasts of having the first citizen of India to hold the 12 digit Unique Identification Number, a project undertaken by the Central Government of India. The major crops of this region are Jowar, Wheat, Rice, Tur, Groundnuts, and Chilly. Annual Crops of this area are Sugar Cane and Cotton.
