Goa Portuguese Language
Origin
Portuguese is a Romantic language. It is also the Official language of Brazil, Portugal, Angola, Principe and Sao Tome. Moreover this language has co official status in East Asia in Macau. Many Portuguese speakers can even be found in Daman and Diu and Goa. Furthermore this language is considered as the 6th most spoken language in the world and even 3rd most spoken language in the western area. Sao Paulo was founded as the city with high rate of Portuguese speakers. This city even contains an interactive Portuguese Museum.
History
Initially Romans brought Latin language when they arrived peninsula. Later on they were conquered by German people who adopt Romance in their language which was commonly known as Mozarabic. Arabic on Romance dialects was influenced by them. Later on Portuguese came into existence in medieval language which was known today by the linguists as Old Portuguese or Galician. Afterwards in 15nth to 16nth centuries Portuguese undergone many regions of Asia, Africa and America. Majority of Portuguese speakers can be found Brazil. Furthermore from 16 nth centuries till now, the evolution of modern Portuguese came into existence. This modern Portuguese language has adopted many words from Classical Greek and Latin languages.
Geographic Distribution
Portuguese is broadly spoken in Brazil, Sao Tome, Portugal and Angola. Many speakers can even be found in Principe region even. Moreover 10 percent of mass of Portuguese orators can be seen in Mozambique region. Furthermore in Guinea Bissau region approximately 11.5 percent of population speaks Portuguese language. Additionally there are number of Portuguese orator’s communities in numerous countries like Australia, Canada, Bermuda and Andorra. As per 2007 American Community Survey, 687126 speakers were found in USA. Also in some parts of the Portuguese areas of India like Goa and Daman and Diu, Portuguese language is still spoken.
Official status
There are eight independent countries which contain Portuguese as its official language. Even the community of Portuguese language claimed it. Moreover it is even one of the necessary official languages of special Chinese administrative region of Macau and also of numerous international organisations.
Dialects
The Modern standard European Portuguese is based on the Portuguese language spoken in and around the Coimbra city. Also the modern Brazilian Portuguese is based on Portuguese orated in the City of Rio de Janeiro. The dialects of Galician have some similarities with that of dialects from inland northern Portugal. Many words of the Portuguese language are derived from the Latin words. Moreover few Portuguese words can be distinguished from pre. Since 9th century to 13th century, Portuguese language adopted approximately 800 words from Arabic language. Then in 15th century this language led to the introduction of many Asian languages loanwords. Later in 16th to 19th century the role of Portuguese language spread too many colonies in Brazil, Angola and Mozambique regions. Finally in recent times it has adopted many words from European languages. This Portuguese language even grasps some of the resemblance same as the Brazilian language inhabits.
Classification and Related Languages
This Portuguese language is in the right place to Iberian West Branch. This Romance language has larger phonemic inventory than compared to Spanish language. Moreover this language has close relation to Galician language. Furthermore Portuguese speakers require some basic formal study of grammars, expressions and vocabulary before attaining an important comprehension. Additionally in Spain there are number of people who attain Galician Portuguese as their native language. In addition this verbal communication has adopted many words and phrases from different languages like Japanese, Bengali, English and Africaans. It has even influenced on the lingua brasilica. Also there are many Portuguese prayers in Holy rituals.

The Portuguese language includes 19 consonants, 9 oral Vowels and 5 nasal vowels. It even contains 10 oral diphthongs, 5 nasal diphthongs and in totals 13 vowel phonemes.

Consonants
Portuguese language has fair conservative consonants. There is as such no alteration to consonant phonemes.
Grammar
Verb is the main and notable aspect of Portuguese grammar. Moreover it has grasped many verbal inflections than any other Romance language. The Portuguese grammar has iterative sense of present perfect whereas the vernacular Portuguese still uses subjunctive future mood.
Writing System
This Portuguese language is written in 26 letters of Latin script. It makes use of five diacritics to denote vowel height, contraction, stress and nasalization. It also makes use of sound changes in it. The diagraphs and the accented characters are not counted as the separate letters for the collation purposes.
