Sri Guru Nanak Sat Sangh Sabha
Sri Guru Nanak Sat Sangh Sabha is located very close to Sun Plaza Apartment. It is at the back side of School for the Deaf and Blind. Sri Guru Nanak Sat Sangh Sabha is situated in Gopathy, Chetty Road. The gurudwara offers free medical treatment and food to destitutes and poor people. The structure was made by Guru Nanak Sat Sangh Sabha officially registered in Madras. Moreover, Guru Nanak Sat Sangh Sabha was developed by Lieutenant Gill (ex- Director General, Prisons) Chennai in the year 1949. Sri Guru Nanak Sat Sangh Sabha is a prominent holy place in the heart of city. It is visited by Hindus, Christians, Buddhists and people from other religions as well.
The overall construction of the Gurudwara is contemporary. Lieutenant Gill took an initiative to set the Gurudwara for Sikh community in Chennai.
