HAL Ozar Airport (ICAO: VAOZ), is operated by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and is one of the popular military airfields. It is situated in the North-Eastern region of Nasik, Maharashtra, India. The government used this airport to test, develop and construct aircrafts for the Indian Armed Forces.
One of the best base repair depots which is under the control of maintenance command is situated at Ozar. It was established in the year 1975 and certified by ISO 9001:2000 for the maintenance facilities provided by it. The airport also conducts various renovation programs for the military aircrafts including - IAF's MiG-23s and MiG-29s.
History
The HAL Ozar Airport was built in the year 1964 and received grants for manufacturing MIG-21FL. The other military aircrafts that were constructed by this airfield includes - MiG-21M, MiG-21 BIS, MiG-27 M, Su 30 MKI aircraft.
In September, 2011, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited launched commercial air cargo operations from Ozar airport, that was managed by Halcon, a merger of HAL, state-run Container Corporation (Concor) and Clarion Solutions, part of the leading shipping and logistics major, Transworld Group. Slowly, the airport became capable of dealing with large military aircraft including - the Antonov AN-124s and created some extra parking space and medical facilities. At that time, the cargo terminal operator was Clarion Solutions. In order to seek the aircraft diversions from Mumbai Airport, HAL applied for DGCA permit. The aircrafts were handled at the Ahmedabad airport. In order to seek the diversions of the aircrafts HAL has signed an MoU with the Government of Maharashtra for a Rs 40 crore so that they can upgrade Ozar airport. With the support from the government, the airport authority is assuring that a Passenger Terminal Complex will be constructed in the next 12 months. On January 2, 2012 PWD minister and Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal performed the Groundbreaking ceremony.

KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA is situated at AFS OJHAR in the district of Nasik, Maharashtra. The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold delegation, that can be explained as below

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ojhar was established on 9th August, 1979. It is located 30 km away from the Nashik Railway Station in the village of Ojhar. One can find the school in a tranquil atmosphere which can be considered as an ideal environment for a school. The school is operated by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Mumbai Region, where it works in two shifts. One can get admission to their children in this school according to the guidances of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi.
