Himachal Pradesh Naina Devi
The district of bilaspur in the state of Himachal Pradesh is the house of Naina Devi Wildlife Sanctuary that is spread over an area of 37 acres. The forest is a dry mixed deciduous type of forest. It is part of the inner range of Shivalik hills and has rich flora and fauna. Adjacent to this sanctuary is another most famous sanctuary of Himachal Pradesh that is known as GobindSagar Sanctuary. It is close to another famous city of Punjab Nangal that has the famous Bhakra Dam.
This area experiences a subtropical type of climate conditions that is favorable for variety of flower plantation and trees like Sisso, Scrub, Bamboo and Pine.
The forest is the house for the various animals like leopard, Bengal Fox, Yellow-throated marten, the flying squirrel, langur, Jungle Cat and the Indian Hare. The reptiles like Cobra, indian krait and the Ratsnake are also part of the rich fauna.

The annual snowfall and Rainfall is 1155mm and 1430 mm respectively. The temperature in the area varies from -2 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. The winters in the area can be extremely cold.
