Himachal Pradesh Lippa Asrang
The sanctuary is part of district Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh. The area is 3089 hectares and is part of Moorang town. The sanctuary was established in the year 1974.
There is wide range of flora and fauna in the area of this forest as there is varied elevation, different climatic situation and the topographical type of weather found in the vicinity of Lippa Asrang wildlife sanctuary. This type of weather conditions thus helps in the survival of different type of species that are housed in the sanctuary. The sanctuary has diversified wildlife that forms the part of the sanctuary.
The wild species of animal like Yak, Ibex, Blue Sheep, Himalayan Musk Deer, Goral, Brown Bear and Himalayan Black Bear are housed in the sanctuary. Yak among these animals is wild.
The dry alpine scrub and dry coniferous type of forest are the type of flora in the sanctuary. Another rich flora that is found in the sanctuary is the dwarf juniper scrub, the coniferous forest and the temperate type of forest of Himalayan region.

The temperature in the winters is as low as 10 degree Celsius and in summers it is 15 degree Celsius.
How to Reach
There is no flight that plies to Kinnaur. The nearest airport is in Shimla.
No rail line connects to Kinnaur. One has to first reach to Shimal rail station and then hire taxi or bus ti reach Kinnaur.
Buses and taxis move to and fro between Shimla and Kinnaur.
