It is situated in the north central part of Uttarpradesh. Budaun is holy land of Great Sufi Saint's, Auliya, Wali and Peer's as well as a place of izarat's. It is very holi place in the India. It is 235 km from Delhi and 311 km from Lucknow. Budaun is the largest producer of Wheat in UP. Budaun is the leading producer of Menthol in the country.

History:

Budaun was founded about 905, and an inscription, probably of the 12th century, gives a list of twelve Rathor kings reigning at Budaun. It was captured by Qutb-ud-din Aybak in 1196, after which it became a very important post on the northern frontier of the Delhi Empire. It has 34% Muslim population according to Government of India.
