Uttar Pradesh Ram Janki Temple
There are various temples devoted to Lord Rama and Ram Janki temple at Hardoi district is among one of them. The presiding deities of the temple are Lord Sri Rama and his consort Goddess Janki. There is an idol of Lord Hanuman seen here. The temple is famous for its amazing architecture. This white colored temple of Rama is considered among the most holy places in the district. Moreover, during Ramanavami, some special Puja or rituals are performed in the temple by main priest. During the festival time, followers of Lord Rama gather here to participate in religious activities to have blessings of God.
History
However, there is no proper history available regarding the construction date and origin of the temple yet it is believed the temple was originally constructed centuries ago. This sacred Rama temple is frequented by thousands of devotees every year. According to local folklore, once a sage called Rambhaktacharya visited the place wherein present temple situated, he worship lord Rama and was granted Moksha or ultimate salvation. The major attraction of the temple is the idol of Lord Rama which is made of white marble.

Like all other cities of Uttar Pradesh, Hardoi district also enjoys the tropical climate condition. It means winters can be extremely chilly and summers may be very hot. So the best time to visit Ram Janki temple is from the month of March to October.
