Presiding deity of this temple is Lord Krishna and Radha Ji and believed self manifested as no human being involved in the construction. The establishment of this temple was done by Gopal Bhatt Goswami. He was the Brahmin of Vrindavan and a strict follower of the rules set by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. A saligram shila was told the main source of the self manifested idol of the deity.
History
This is the divine hand that the idol instead of self manifested has a smile on the face. Establishment of the presiding deity was done while the lights of moon were on full glow and it is also evident from the history that temple was built in 1542. It is believed that Gopal Bhatt dreamt Chaitanya mahaprabhu and went to see him in Nepal where he takes a bath in Kali Gandaki River. He found that a lot of saligram shilas are automatically collected in his Kamandal. He wanted to leave them in river but shilas remained with him. He took 12 of them and kept in the temple. A donor came to him and donated a lot of decorative items for the shilas. Gopal Bhatt refused to accept it and the donor was also insisted upon not to take back the thing once given for Lord. Gopal Bhatt accepted the donation and kept the same near the shilas. One morning he saw that shilas have self manifested the form of Lord Krishna and a smiling face was there. Since then the temple was called Radha Raman temple. This temple is located at 21 kilometers from Mathura and well connected by road.
