Uttar Pradesh Kalyani Devi Temple Allahabad
This temple is exactly located in Meerapur town of Allahabad district of Uttar Pradesh state. Idols established in this temple are very old but the construction done during 1883 as evident from the sculptures inside. Three idols are established inside the temple, Kalyani Devi is in the middle and on both sides Chinnamasta Devi and Shankar Parvati are standing.
Architecture
This temple is unique with regards to architecture. Constructional pattern of this temple has a wide resemblance with the south Indian temples. Sabhasthal has been constructed in the Hoysaleshwara temple making style. Pillars of the temple have stone discs on upper portion to take load of huge roof. Three towers have been made in this temple in layered pattern. In each tower more than 7 layers of stones are provided and a center of gravity was created in each tower which is sufficient to shoulder the huge load of temple. Boundary wall is made of stones. Moldings have been done in the wall of Sabha sthal. Inside the temple, a better carving is also done with sculptures displaying the constructional details of the temple.

Allahabad Fort
This fort is located on the river bank. Construction of the fort was done in 1583 by Great emperor Akbar.
Allahabad Museum
This place is located near the Chandra Shekhar Azad Park and has the display of various archeological things. Inauguration of this park was done in 1947.
Allahabad Planetarium
This building was constructed in 1979 to let the public know about the universe and astrological system. This planetarium is situated inside Anand Bhawan the birth place of Mrs. Indira Gandhi.
Anand Bhawan
This place is much important in Indian history as this place was the ancestral home of late Mrs. Indira Gandhi. Presently this building is a national monument.
Ashoka Pillar
This pillar is standing in Allahabad fort. This stone pillar is 10.6mtr high and it is believed that the same was done on orders of great king Ashoka during 232 BC.
