Khatushyamji Temple is one of the important religious places which are located in Sikar district of Rajasthan. This temple has great significance owing to the devotion showed by the people of Hindu communities. This temple mainly lies in Khatushyamji village. The principal deity of this temple is Lord Khatushyamji, a true devotee of Lord Krishna.

History
The legends say that the origin of this temple begins with the Mahabharata. Khatushyamji was the grandson of Bhima, one of the Pandava brothers. Son of Ghatoktacha, Khatushyamji was known to be a brave warrior. When he came to know about the battle amongst the Pandavas and Kauravas, he decided to witness this, while also promised his mother that he would join the side that is losing the war. Lord Krishna then examined his strength and realized that Khatushyamji has immense strength to defeat the Kauravas.
This temple was therefore constructed to pay homage to this deity. He is considered to be synonymous of Lord Krishna and so people worship him in the similar manner.

By Air
The nearby airport located to this temple is in Jaipur. It is the only international airport which is located close by and is thought to be the best option. Numerous domestic and international flights connect this place to other parts of the country and world.
By Rail
The Sikar Railway Station is the nearby railway station which is located approximately 50 kms away from the Khatushyamji Temple. Trains from different parts of Rajasthan pass this station. This is considered to be one of the main railway stations in this particular region. There is a bus stand which is just opposite to the railway station and so the people can board the bus and reach the temple complex.
By Road
The Khatushyamji Temple is approximately 48 kilometers away from Sikar and is nearly 150 kms from Jaipur so one can reach this temple easily by using buses and taxis.
