Odisha Burial Temples
The temple is popularly known for the festivals of Dola Purnima and Chandan Yatra. It houses 13 burial temples within its complex. These temples are arranged within one and a half rows in its boundary. Nine shrines are beautifully built at the rear end of the complex. Out of these, four temples are infringed upon the creation of a personal compound wall. The temple located on the southern side is partially buried. Three among the four temples present in the front row is buried up to the Gandi and the fourth one up to the bada. The burial temples are square on the plan.
Facts
In 1970, the endowment commission of this temple was held. The Matha belonged to the Sankracharya Sampradaya. The devotees believe that Lord Lingaraja himself arrives to this temple to participate in the community lunch called as pankti bhogo on the occasion of Dola Purnima.

Dola Purnima and Chandan Yatra are the most appropriate time to visit the temple. These are the occasions which are famous for this temple.

By Air
The temple can be reached using Bhubaneswar airport which is the nearest to the temple.
By Rail
Bhubaneswar railway station is the nearest railway station to the temple.
By Road
It can be reached by availing the road towards the right side of the Ratha road that leads to the famous Lingaraj temple to Mausima temple. It is approximately 30 meters from the north side gate of Lingaraja temple.
