Assam Hari Mandir Nalbari
Harimandir was established in 1965 by the collective efforts of a committee which was responsible to organize Ras Pooja festivals in Nalbari district. Earlier the Pooja was organized at some residences. The same was started by the efforts of Engineer Amar Kundu of PWD Nalbari. Initially, the Ras Pooja festival was conducted in the residence of Mr. Kundu but later it was expanded to outside. When the organisation of Ras Pooja required a large space and freedom, the necessity of a temple was felt and then Mr. Damahuram Mahajan came forwards and shouldered the responsibility to construct a temple.
