Origin
The present location of Shri Bhaktha Anjaneyar Temple was called Tulasi Garden in earlier days. One of the dedicated devotees, Sri S.N. Swamy and his family members constructed the new temple in the same place by consecrating it on 08.03.2008.
The principal deity of the temple Shri Bhaktha Anjaneya is adorned with big Gada (Mace) which He holds in His left hand. The Gada is intended for destroying evils and difficulties of the devotees who come here and render prayers. The faithful devotees often mention that Lord Anjaneyar in the shrine always grants an unknown strength and unbelievable relief to their problems.
The tall statue of Shri Bhaktha Anjaneyar installed above the shrine posing as a Tomb on the temple is one of the peculiar attraction to all devotees. Another temple exists inside the campus, which is of crystal stone construction dedicated to Lord Shri Jeya Vera Anjaneyar. This shrine is established especially on the South East Corner of the temple, which is referred as Kannimoolai having some astrological significance.
As per Hindu Mythology, Hanumanji is the son of Vayu - the Wind Element form of God, having enormous strength. Lord Hanuman is one standing as an embodiment of Bhakthi, an inexplicable devotion to Lord Ram who assisted Him in all forms when Lord Rama had to fight Ravan to retrieve Mata Seethaji.
Shri Anjaneya is considered one of the nine immortals of Hindu mythology referred as Chiranjeevi, while others include Markandeya, Ashwatthama, Mahabali, Kripachariar, Parashurama, Vibhishana and Vyasa. The term Chiranjeevi denotes ‘ever to live’.
