Hanuman In Nandura Maharashtra
History
The famous Nandura town in the state of Maharashtra in India is a Municipal council in the Buldhana district and Nandura happens to be the head quarters of this district. This place comes in the route of NH 6 and in the Mumbai-Howrah Railway route which happens to be an important town came in to existence during the British Regime during 1931. This place also is a part of Malkapur sub division of Buldhana District. Malkapur Tehsil is the border area in the western side and Jalgaon/Jamod Tehsil come in the northern side, also Khamgaon and Shegaon cover the eastern part.
The 108 feet statue of Lord Hanuman in this place welcomes the tourists. This statue is about 108 ft, and the chest width is 70 ft, and has a base line ranging 30 ft. The Murti has a 70 ft tail, 25ft ARM and sole area of 34 ft. Lord Hanuman happens to be the son of Air. He is known as Pawansut. He is also the son of Anjani, also known as Anjaniputra.

The famous status of Lord Anjaneya or Hanuman which is at a height of 108 ft and situated at Nandura of Maharashtra has its various powers of attraction of public. The nearest airport to the place is Aurangabad, which is around 197 kms from here. Also, it is 317 kms by Rail and has a place on Mumbai Howrah (via Nagpur) as its railway route. It is also at a distance of 90 km from Bhusawal. It is convenient to reach here by road from Khamgaon which is around 18 kms away. State Transport buses of Maharashtra are also available from big cities of the state and one can have a very good view of the Statue from the Trains in the route of Bhusawal-Nagpur-Bhusawal. Nearby places for eat out are Surya Garden Restaurant, Sainik Dhaba. Nearby railway stations are Malikpur Railway Station at about 6.7 kms. The Jalamb Railway Station is at about 12.5 kms and Nandura Railway station is at around 1.5 kms.
