Pasta Soup
Brief Description
Pasta soup is an excellent recipe for a quick lunch or supper preparation. This recipe is very filling and has low fat content and health benefits. Just follow the directions given below to prepare this recipe at home.
Time to Prepare 5 minutes Time for cooking 10 minutes Serves 4 Ingredients For Pasta Soup
- Chickpeas- 1 cup
- Pasta- 1/2 cup
- Vegetable stock- 2 cups
- chopped Onion- ½
- chopped Garlic- 1 piece
- chopped Carrot- ½
- Parsley Leaves- 3 sprigs
- Vegetable oil- 2 tbsp
- Tomato Sauce- 3 tsp
- Salt as needed
- Pepper as required
How To Make Pasta Soup
- Keep the chickpeas soaked in water overnight.
- Use pressure cooker to cook it in water and set aside the next day.
- Take a pan and heat oil in it. Sauté garlic and onions in it.
- Pour in the vegetable stock and add pasta, parsley leaves and carrots into it.
- Bring it all to a boil, put on the lid and lower the heat.
- Let is simmer till all the vegetables are cooked.
- Put in the chickpeas and also the tomato sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Let the soup simmer for few more minutes and then serve it hot.
