Medu Vada
Brief Description
Medu Vada is a popular and traditional South Indian recipe which is really delicious in taste. Follow this simple method to learn the preparation of Medu Vada.
Time to Prepare 15 minutes Cooking Time 15 minutes Serves 4 Ingredients For Medu Vada
- Raw Rice-two cups
- Two and half cups Urad Dal
- One slightly chopped Onion
- No of Green Chilies-4
- Add Salt as per your taste
- Half teaspoon Peppercorn
- Two cups Oil
How To Make Medu Vada
- Take a pan and heat oil in it. Fry chilies, garlic, onions and daal till they turn golden brown.
- Transfer it all to a grinder. Add salt and tamarind in it before grinding the mixture.
- In a pan heat some oil and splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves. Pour this over the onion mix and the Medu Vada is ready.
- It goes extremely well with puris and paranthas.
