Chana Palak Curry

Time to Prepare 10 minutes Cooking Time 30 minutes No. of servings 4 Ingredients For Chana Palak Curry
- Chickpeas- 1 can
- Oil- 1 tbsp
- finely chopped onion- 1
- blanched, peeled and diced tomatoes- 3
- chopped spinach- 4 cups
- minced garlic- 2 cloves
- grated ginger- 1 inch
- chopped green chilies-2
- tumeric powder- ½ tsp
- coriander powder- 2 tsp
- garam Masala- ½ tsp
- Salt as required
- chopped coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
How To Make Chana Palak Curry
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till they turn golden brown. Add tomatoes, ginger, garlic and chilies. Let it cook for 6-7 minutes and then grind into a paste.
- Put in turmeric, cumin powder and coriander powder. Cook while stirring for 3 minutes.
- Add in the spinach and cook till it is done.
- Stir in the chickpeas and cook for 10 more minutes.
- Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with paranthas or chapattis.
