Rajasthan
Rajasthan is the state of music and also centers of development of music including the cities like Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur in the field of music. The music of Rajasthan also shared the combination of music from nearby areas just as Sindh of Pakistan and border area.
There were lots of castes of music namely, Manganiar, bhopa, langas, sapera, and jogi. The Langas and Manganiars are the two forms of musician class. The langas is related to the style of Muslim and Manganiars were related to approach of liberal.
To describe the culture of the Rajasthan mainly of well and water, the women of the state sings the song named Panihari to the show the desert culture. There were other different songs that include the alap in a special tone following the couplet recital that is dooba. To describe about the heroes of epic like Gogaji, Ramdeoji, Tejaji, Pabuki, and Devnarayan Bhagwan, the music plays important role. The music of the Rajasthan changes with the seasonal celebration. Traditional folk songs were used basically at the time of celebration in the season of harvest and monsoon. Maand
This kind of music is played by local musicians in the Royal court of Rajasthan is very famous among them. To praise the rulers of Rajput such as Ramdeoji, Tejaji, and Gogaji, the musicians played the music with instruments and songs were sung by the folk singers.
Panihari
This is a form of folk music sung by the women of village near the well for water scarcity. These folk songs of panihari were related to the bond between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law and also related to the lovers.
Bhajans
These are the kind of music or songs that related to the divine version like most of the bhajans related to Lord Krishna that is sung by Mirabai and some are related to the Royal heritage. These songs motivate the enthusiasm in the Lord Krishna lovers and give rise to a new music school.
