Brief Description
For traditional Rajasthani traditional sweet, churma laddu is the most appreciated and favorable one. This is one of common dishes of all the festivies seasons. It is interesting to find that Churma is nothing but a powdered variety which is also used to make laddus.From the region of Rajasthan, this dish is quite successful in winning the taste of many people. No doubt churma laddus preparation is a bit complicated, but still by following the easy steps it can be cooked and prepared
Time required for preparation 40 minutes approximately Cooking Time Required 15 minutes almost Total Serves 5-6 serves Ingredients For The Recipe
In order to make this sweet dish several ingredients are required, Below are the ingredients along with the quantity required.
- Wheat flour required quantity 400 gm.
- Desi ghee melted form 200 gm.
- Jaggery Quantity 25 gms
- Normal Water 1/8 cups.
- Poppy Seeds 1 tsp.
- Cardamom powder a pinch is sufficient
- Normal Raisins 5-6 pieces.
How To Make The Recipe
In order to make the best churma laddu, follow the following steps
- Initially in a clean bowl properly mix Wheat flour and desi ghee. bowl.
- Once they are mixed properly, add some amount of normal water and prepare normal dough, once it is made keep the dough aside for a while.
- Now with the dough make small balls of palm shaped ,on the medium flame put a some cooking oil in the pan and continue to deep fry these laddus ,uptil the time the color changes to golden brown.
- Now let the fried ball cool down, once it is cooled down, grind it well in a grinder.
- Meanwhile start melting Jaggery along with ghee and add this to the churma mixture.
- Once it is done properly mix all the ingredients, and add cardamom and make laddus.
- Once it is completed garnish it with simple poppy seeds and serve for eating
