Time to prepare 20 minutes Time to cook 25 minutes Serves 4 serves Ingredients For The Recipe
- Snake Gourd – one long
- Yoghurt or curd- 3 cups
- Onion – one number
- Crushed green chili- 2 tbsp
- curry leaves- 2 number
- Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt for tasting
- Jeera- 1 tbsp
- Rai- 1 tbsp
- Oil- 1 ½ tbsp
How To Make The Recipe
- First you can wash and peel a long snake gourd and cut it into small rounded pieces.
- After that you can take two cups of water and boil the pieces of snake gourd till it become gentle.
- Now you can mix salt in curd and keep aside.
- After that you can take a small pan and heat oil in it and then you can add curry leaves, jeera, onion pieces and rai in oil and fry it till onions become brown.
- Now you can add boiled snake gourd, green chili and turmeric powder in above mixture.
- After that you should take off pan from gas and add to the curd.
- Finally your raita get ready to eat and serve with cold.
