Brief Description
Missi puri is a very famous and delicious Indian recipe. Now we will learn how to prepare missi puri.
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 10 minutes Servings 4 Ingredients of Missi Puri
- 250 gm of Wheat Flour
- 100 gm Gram Flour
- 3tbsp of Chilli Powder
- 1,1/2 tsp of Coriander Seeds
- ½ tsp of Cumin Seeds
- ½ tsp of All Spices
- Add Salt According to Taste
- Oil as Per Requirement
- Ghee as Per Requirement
How to make Missi Puri
- Firstly add 1tsp ground coriander, 1 tsp salt, chilli powder and all other spices to the gram flour.
- Now start heating 4 tbsp of oil.
- Cumin seeds should be fried and add 1 tbsp of crushed coriander in the mixture.
- Now add the gram flour.
- Cook it for round about 5 to 7 minutes till it becomes slightly brown.
- Remove it and prepare 15 portions out of it.
- Now in the wheat flour, add ½ tsp salt and 2 tsp oil.
- Now prepare dough and start making portions out of it.
- Stuff each prepared roll with the gram flour stuffing.
- Now start rolling them into puris shape and then deep fry it.

Some Useful Tips
- The centre part should be pressed lightly with the frying pan while frying the puri, this will help it in puffing up.
- Chole masala used in recipe is a mixture of many spices which is easily available at almost all grocery stores.
