Brief Description
Methi Ki Puri a very popular Indian recipe which is very nutritious. A filling mixture made with fenugreek leaves and some other spices is stuffed in the wheat flour prepared ball and then fried. By following this simple method we will learn how to make Dal Puri.
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 25 minutes Servings 4 Ingredients of Methi Ki Poori
- Wheat Flour- 4 cup
- Methi Leaves- 300 gram
- Ginger- 1” piece
- Green Chilies-4
- Cumin Seeds-1/2 tsp
- Garlic-8 -10 pods
- Use Oil For Frying
- Add Salt According to Taste
How to make Methi Ki Poori
- Firstly mix chillies, garlic, ginger, methi and cumin powder and prepare a paste from it.
- Now whole wheat flour should be kneaded with the prepared paste. Add some salt and 4 tablespoon oil while kneading.
- Start heating some oil in a pan for frying.
- Prepare some small balls from the dough and start rolling them in puri shape. Now start frying these puris one by one.
- Methi Ki Puri is prepared and ready to eat. It can be served hot with aloo ki sabzi or pickle.

Some Useful Tips
- The centre part should be pressed lightly with the frying pan while frying the puri, this will help it in puffing up.
- Chole masala used in recipe is a mixture of many spices which is easily available at almost all grocery stores.
