Brief Description
Khasta poori is a very tasty dish. Now we will learn how to prepare khasta poori.
Total Preparation Time 5 minutes Total Cooking Time 10 minutes Servings 4 Ingredients of Khasta Puri
- Add Black Pepper (Kalimirch) Powder According to Taste
- Oil
- Wheat Flour
- Add Cardamoms (Elaichi)
- Poppy Seeds Should Be Added (Khus-Khus)
- Add Salt According to Taste
How to make Khasta Puri
- Take out 500gm wheat flour in a vessel and then add 5 grounded cardamons, 1/2 tea-spoons of khus-khus, 4 tea-spoons of oil and salt according to your taste.
- Now mix all these ingredients to the wheat flour to prepare a soft dough
- Try to make small loths of the dough and convert them into the puri shape and then start frying it in the hot oil.
- Keep frying them till they become golden brown.
- It can be served with mango achar or sweet chatni.

Some Useful Tips
- The centre part should be pressed lightly with the frying pan while frying the puri, this will help it in puffing up.
- Chole masala used in recipe is a mixture of many spices which is easily available at almost all grocery stores.
