Among the many Rajasthani recipes bedmi Puri is very popular. Not only in Delhi- Agra but even in Brij Anchal Bedmi Poori is considered as the most preferable breakfast dish. In some places it is made with Moong dal, whereas in other places to prepare Bedmi Poori, Urad daal is used. Bedmi Poori can be made as a special Sunday recipe. By following this simple recipe we will learn how to prepare Bedmi Poori.
Total Preparation Time 20 minutes Total Cooking Time 15 minutes Servings 4 Ingredients of Bedmi Puri
- Maida-500gms
- Moong Dal-100gms
- Red Chilli Powder-1 tsp
- Ground Coriander-1tsp
- Garam Masala-1 tsp
- Oil-4tbsp
- Add Salt According to Taste
How to make Bedmi Puri
- Mix ground coriander moong dal, garam masala, red chili powderand and then grind it properly.
- Now prepare a paste of this grinded mixture.
- Add the prepared paste and oil in maida
- Add some water to make dough out of it.
- Prepare some small balls from the dough and then roll them out in form of puris.
- It should be deep fried until it blow up.
- Now Bedmi Puris are ready to serve.

Some Useful Tips
Cumin seeds can also be added in dough. To make it sweet add some cardamom, the stuffing was made prefect by the quantity of chilies added in it.
