Introduction
The Naga People's Front is regional political and governing party in Manipur and Nagaland, India. It led Nagaland government having the support of “Bharatiya Janata Party” or BJP, as part of “Democratic Alliance” of Nagaland while 2003. Now, Dr. Shürhozelie is president of party. The chief leader of Naga People's Front, Mr. Neiphiu Rio, is Chief Minister of state. On 22nd March, 2004 NPF attracted the “Nagaland Democratic Party”.
Although Naga People's Front has some local arrangements and supports with NDA it doesn’t support either NDA or UPA in central government while it has one MP in Lok Sabha.

Objectives and Aims
The objectives and aims of the Nagaland People’s Front are
- To assist and work in every possible way on every approach for peaceful resolution of Indo-Naga political matter, keeping lively at same time fire of relentless attempt to stand next to any force for further division of the Nagas in addition thus move towards renaissance of brotherhood of Naga by forming constant plea for Naga conscience.
- To struggle to bring regarding electoral reforms matched to the mode of life intended at national renaissance in society towards the person Party is obligation bound, therefore for liberating Naga society from tie lethal clutches of deterioration.
- To effort for integrity and unity of people by incorporating all neighboring Naga occupied areas under one administrative roof and also to provide protection to all the ethnic groups who’re native inhabitants of State.
- For restoring clean image and good name image that Nagas liked in past by taking brawl against the entire corruption forms at all the levels of the Government.
- For restoring to people self-discipline along with spirit of independence that Nagas had in profusion in past but that has been gravely eroded in recent past.
- To work and effort for the economic progression of people having special importance on the rural development having view for removing economic difference in society.
- To strive for a clean and efficient administration.
- To abide strictly by Rule of the Law in dispensation of the Justice.
Famous Party Ministers
Neiphiu Rio
Mr. Neiphiu Rio was born in year 1950. He is Indian politician and activist who are at present Chief Minister of Nagaland. Mr. Rio was CM from 6th March, 2003 to 3rd January 2008, plus has been CM once again since 12th March, 2008.
He is member of Nagaland People's Front that joined further regionalist Naga parties and state branch of “Bharatiya Janata Party” (BJP) under leadership to shape Democratic Alliance in Nagaland, a alliance that won state elections of 2003, bringing  ten-year-long regulation of “Indian National Congress” in state to end. As the member of INC, Mr. Rio was home minister of Nagaland as section of cabinet led by S C Jamir. Mr. Rio afterward took the office like Chief Minister of the state on 6th March, 2003. Mr. Rio is music obsession himself and played vital role in setting-up Music Task-Force, which is the foremost music industry of the country that has considerably played major role in molding talented musicians and artists in Nagaland. He was rewarded “Mother Teresa Millenium” award for outstanding leadership and governance in Kolkata in year 2007.
He was dismissed from the post of Chief Minister during President's rule in state when imposed on 3rd January, 2008. His political party came out as single biggest party of ensuing elections and Mr. Rio, as leader of the DAN, was requested by state Governor for making government on 12th  March in 2008.
ShĂĽrhozelie Liezietsu
Dr. Shürhozelie Rio is active politician from the state of Nagaland in India. He is president of Nagaland People's Front. In year 2003 he was voted to Nagaland Legislative Assembly as Nagaland People's Front candidate in constituency “Northern Angami-I (ST)”. After 2003 elections, Rio was “Urban Development Minister” of Nagaland in “Democratic Alliance” of government of Nagaland. For restoring to people self-discipline along with spirit of independence that Nagas had in profusion in past but that has been gravely eroded in recent past. To work and effort for the economic progression of people having special importance on the rural development having view for removing economic difference in society. To strive for a clean and efficient administration he also worked.
