Introduction
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is a Nationalist Maharashtrian party that is based in the state of Maharashtra and functions on motto of "Sons-of-the-Soil". It was established on March 9th, 2006 in city of Mumbai by Mr. Raj Thackeray past he left Shiv-Sena because of differences with Mr. Uddhav Thackeray along with sidelining in main decisions such as election ticket’s distribution.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena was established by Mr. Raj Thackeray who is nephew of the Shiv-Sena supreme leader Mr. Bal Thackeray. Mr. Raj Thackeray quitted from the party of his uncle in January in year 2006. He had announced his purpose to create a new and active political party of his own. Also Mr. Raj Thackeray had very obvious motive to build political awareness to develop related matters of state and providing them center stage of national politics. The program is to get an huge support as well as sympathies of youth of the state.
At time of foundation of party, Raj said that he doesn’t wish having fighting with his uncle( Bal Thakery) who was as well as is and will be his mentor always.
Although Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is break-away group from Shiv-Sena, party is till now based on Bhumiputra and Marathi ideologies. When promoting his party in assembly at the Shivaji Park Raj said that everybody is anxious for seeing what will come about to Hindutva. When presentation, he also stated that he shall detailed on the stance of the party on matters like Marathi Sons of Soil, its development agenda for Maharashtra along with the importance of party flag colors at March 19th public meeting. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena got thirteen Vidhan-Sabha seats. The birthday of Raj is celebrated as "Son-Of-Soil" of Maharashtra day. Moreover Raj is pompous carrying that tag. Raj Thackeray thinks himself a very active Indian nationalist rather than a regionalist and maintains that Congress is 2-faced. MNS also identifies secularism like one of core tenets of the party.
History
Raj Thackeray has been left Shiv-Sena in month of Jan, 2006. For couple of the months he was separate from press and media. But it was only the hush before the big storm. On 9th of March, 2006, Raj proudly announced his fresh and novel political party known as Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) in city of dream Mumbai at the Shivaji Park. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena was usually called "manase".
In speech which is given by Mr. Raj Thackeray while party inauguration on 9th of March, 2006, he gave significance of flag of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. He deliberately decided that orange color represents Hindus, Green represents Muslims along with Blue that repersents Dalits. He also revealed the symbol or election of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena that is train. He stated that train symbolizes the development along with his aim for seeing the development of Maharashtra.

Raj Shrikant Thackeray
Mr. Raj Shrikant-Thackeray was born on 14th June in 1968. He is president and founder of right-wing of Marathi ethnocentric provincial political party, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena or Maharashtra-Reformation Army in Maharashtra, India. Raj is nephew of Shiv-Sena leader Bal Thackeray along with the cousin of present Shiv-Sena Executive President Mr. Uddhav Thackeray.
Raj initiated his politics career having his Uncle Mr. Bal Thackeray. Mr. Bal Thackeray has been massive influence on the life of Raj. He has been stated having sculpted himself following him. In year 1997, he began Shiv-Udyog Sena which is youth wing of Shiv Sena. Having this he quite tried for strengthening his image of youth leader. He heaved funds for employment agency having amongst further sources like concerts by Lata Mangeshkar and Michael Jackson and therefore, at the same time, propagated new and fresh brand of popular culture of Sena and the implications of the party for a promising generational transformation within organization. But his great connection with Sena has ended in year 2006. In the month of January in 2006, he resigned and left the Sena claiming that Shiv-Sena was being "run-by-petty-clerks" due to which party had "fallen-from-its-former-glory". It has been several speculations over original reason for his resignation from the party. The well-liked rumor to be that Raj was being secondary by Mr. Bal Thackeray’s son named Uddhav Thackeray. In the similar year he announced the intention for starting political party of his own.
