Pickled Mushrooms
Brief Description
Pickled mushrooms can be a very good complement to lot of main course recipes. Learn how to make pickled mushrooms by following the recipe provided over here. It can be kept for a whole year if well preserved.
Preparation Time 5 minutes Cooking Time 5 minutes Number of Serves 4 Ingredients For Pickled Mushrooms
- Red wine vinegar- ½ cup
- Water- ½ cup
- Bay leaves- 2
- Sugar- 2 tbsp
- Salt- 1 ½ teaspoons
- Minced garlic clove- 1
- Fresh mushrooms-1 pound
How To Make Pickled Mushrooms
- Take a saucepan and pour water in it. On medium flames mix vinegar, sugar, bay leaves, salt and garlic with water.
- Add the mushrooms and bring everything to a boil.
- Take off the flames and let it cool down before transferring to a bowl.
- Cover it up and put it in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
- Remove any bay leaves before serving.
