Fish Pickle
Brief Description
It is very famous pickle recipe of Kerala which is really delicious in taste. It tastes really good when served with rice. Follow this simple method to learn the preparation of this unique pickle recipe.
Preparation Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 30 minutes Number of Serves 4 Ingredients For Fish Pickle
- 250gm fish divided in pieces
- One Chopped onion
- Piece of Ginger
- One teaspoon Garlic
- Half Cup chilly powder
- Half teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of Mustard
- Methi-1 teaspoon
- Small number of curry patha
- Half cup oil
- Vinegar-one cup
- No of Cloves-10
- Add salt as per your taste
How To Make Fish Pickle
- Firstly rub some salt and chilli powder on fish and keep it in sunlight for a day and wait for it to dry.
- Take a pan and heat some oil in it and then fry the fish in the pan and leave it aside for sometime.
- Now roast methi and mustard in the roaster and properly crush all the ingredients.
- Take a pan and heat some oil in it and sauté onions in the pan and do this till the onion becomes brown in color
- Now add some ground masala to the mixture.
- Now add some vinegar in the pickle mixture and mix it with fish pieces.
