Peda
Brief Description
Peda is a delicious, mouthwatering and softy-milky sweet dish. It is one of the most famous sweet that is made all over India. Peda prepared with sugar, milk and flavored with cardamom. You can enjoy eating it as a dessert or as a candy. Here is the recipe to make peda easily.
Time to Prepare Minutes - 10 Time for cooking Minutes - 30 Serves People - 24 Ingredients For Peda
- peeled onions- 1 cup
- garlic flakes- 6 to 7
- channa daal- 2 tbsp
- red chilies- 5
- salt as needed
- mustard seeds- 1 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Tamarind- small
How to make Peda
- Add 4 cups of milk and make the paneer.
- In a pan, melt the butter on average heat.
- Now mix the milk, paneer, and milk powder and blend it nicely.
- Allow to simmer it and keep stirring continuously till it become dough or leave the sides in the pan. After 10 minutes remove it and khoya is done.
- Add the khoya in a plate and allow it cool completely.
- Add sugar and cardamom into it and blend well till it becomes soft dough.
- Cut the dough into 20 equal pieces and make roll into round shapes and press it slightly so it becomes small patty.
- Keep the sliced pistachios on every peda.
- Now peda is ready and serve.
- You can store it for few days at room temperature and a month refrigerated.

- Grind the cardamom seeds and add it into the mixture for additional taste.
