Bal Mithai
Brief Description
Bal Mithai is a delicious and delightful sweet treat that is made all over India. It is one of the main desserts of Uttarakhand cuisine, especially Almora regions. It is prepared with khoya, sugar powder and sugar balls.
Preparation Time 10 minutes Cook Time 45 minutes Serves People - 4 Ingredients For Bal Mithai
- Khoya - 1 cup
- Powdered sugar - 4 tsp
- Sugar balls - 3-4 tsp
How To Make Bal Mithai
- Take a pan, add khoya and roast it on average flame. Keep stirring continuously till it becomes golden brown.
- Now mix the sugar to it and cook it until the mixture golden brown color. Knead well.
- Once it is done, take them out it into the greased plate and set aside to cool completely.
- Now cut it into the rectangular formed blocks.
- Then roll it till the warm blocks on another plate and add sugar balls, so Bal Mithai is ready with well coated balls. Allow to cool nicely.
