Birla Science Museum Hyderabad
B. M. Birla Science Museum that is situated in the Hyderabad city of India is the science museum of India. This museum was built by a Civil Er. P. A. Singaravelu, This museum embodies museum, science center, art gallery, a planetarium and also dinosaurian. The 2nd phase of the science center was the museum itself and inaugurated in 1990.
History
In 1985 on 8th September Late Mr. N.T. Rama Rao inaugurated this architecture that is in dome shape. It open out many aspects of the plentiful mysteries of this universe, Telescopes of Hubble space, Eclipses, UFO’s and also the latest clash of Titans. Besides the excitement and thrill there is also the sound effect that makes a feeling of outer space. This museum leads to the amazement of the people visiting it by showing the sky shows and also various universes’ mysteries.
Different Sections in Museum
Planetarium
One of the wings of the science center is the Birla Planetarium. In 1985 on September 8th the inauguration of this planetarium was done by Mr. N.T. Rama Rao and this planetarium is out of the 3 planetarium of Birla in India. The remaining other 2 planetarium of India are the BM Birla Planetarium of Chennai and the other is the M.P. Birla Planetarium of Kolkata. This planetarium is being considered as the best out of other planetariums in this world.
Dinosaurium
The latest addition that has been done to this planetarium as well as the science center is the Dinosaurium that was inaugurated in 2000. The main item of exhibition in this Dinosaurium is the KotasaurusYamanpalliensis that was dig out in Andhra Pradesh in the district of Adilabad and is old about 160 million years. This was gifted by the Geological Survey of India to this museum. Besides the above items this Dinosaurium embodies several other items like the Dinosaur egg fossils, tree trunks that are fossilized and marine shells.
Exhibitions
On the top there is situated the NaubatPahad that overlooks the Legislative Assembly. Those who are the astronomy lovers love to visit the Birla Planetarium and it is one of there favorite. This museum is the best in Itself in India of its own kind and modern too that has been equipped by the technology of Japan. Bys the side of this museum there is also situated Science Museum that is expressing the increasing of technological advancements as well as science.
