Note

The visitors have the facility to either pay in the local currency or American dollars. The conversion rates are applicable as per the date of booking or the date on which the amount was send. The current rates for dollar exchange can be checked at the hotel counter.

The cost of travel/food/guides/sightseeing/entry fee to the monuments/ parks/palaces/forts/camel rides/cultural programs/boat ride and the payment for still cameras are all included in the above package. For using the video cameras visitors have to pay an extra amount. The other itineraries like liquor, laundry and other personal usage items are not included in the package.

Note: 100% additional will be collected on parting during Christmas/New Year

The following is the policy for making a booking or a cancellation for the Palace-On-Wheels. Please read the terms and conditions carefully:-

Booking

  • Please pay and amount equal to 25% of ticket value at the time of booking.
  • The remaining amount of 75% of ticket value is to be paid 30 days prior to departure.

Cancellation

  • Amount equal to 15% of ticket value will be deducted 60 days prior to departure.
  • 0% of ticket value will be deducted 30-59 days prior to departure.
  • On cancelling 15-29 days prior to departure 60% of ticket value will be deducted.
  •  No amount will be refunded if cancellation is made 14 days prior to departure.

Extra Costs (Not Included in Train Tour)

  • The guests have to pay and extra cost for the alcohols and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • The fee mandatory for using video and professional cameras at monuments and parks.
  • Extra cost for laundry, room service, telephone calls, internet services, spa facility, porter charges, Tour Insurance and other personal expenses has to be borne by the guests.
  • No hotel charges for stay in Delhi, No Air-Ticket charges to reach Delhi, No visa fee will be borne by either Rajasthan Tourism or Indian Railway.

Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Rules-Palace on Wheels

  • The tour on Palace-On-Wheels is purely the responsibility of RTDC i.e. Rajasthan Tourism Department or the Lawrence Travels & Tours Pvt Ltd, New Delhi.
  • A written request is to be submitted for the cancellation of ticket for Palace-On-Wheels. The cancellation charges will be imposed on the full ticket value unrelatedly to the advance payments or the negotiated tariffs.
  • For the ticket cancelled before 61 days of departure the minimum cancellation fee will be 20% of the total ticket value.
  • For cancellation between 61 to 35 days of the tour departure 50% of the cancellation chargers will be levied on total ticket value.
  • No amount will be refunded for the tickets cancelled in the period of 35 days from the tour departure.

 Important

  • The general advice for the foreign visitors is to get their tour insurance from the country of origin of travel.
  • The possibility of cancellation or delay in the flights for both domestic and international travel is most favorable in the months of December and January due to heavy fog.
  • If the criteria of minimum guests booked or due to any other technical issues pertaining to the cancellation of the tour, the amount will be refunded to the guests.
  • Lawrence Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd will be responsible for the refund of amount to the guests after processing the bank charges and any other credit card fee.
  • ANY issues pertaining to Lawrence Travel, RTDC OR Indian Railways will be resolved under Indian Railways Act
  • The jurisdiction of courts of Delhi can be used in case of any disputes.
