The Maharajas Express
Since 2010 the era of luxurious trains have started, The Maharajas Express train is one of the latest and most luxurious trains of India. This trains provides the mesmerize 5 journeys through out India to most interesting destinations, awesome attractions and also offers the view of magnificent landscapes, heritage and culture by which India has been blessed. Maharajas Express provides the journeys to the core parts of India in utter luxury.
This train has been designed for the purpose to reconstruct the stylishness and spectacle of the individual carriages of prehistoric maharajas. The interiors of Maharaja Express have been immersed with homesickness. Sophistication of the previous era and the art facilities together are united and offer 5 Star facilities providing the picturesque interiors of Maharaja Express.
This train consists of guest carriages that are 14 in number constituting lavish housing for guests. There are twenty deluxe cabins, junior suites (18) and four suites along with the truly elegant Presidential Suite straddling over whole carriage radiate grace that always remained unseen in all other previous trains. All the cabins are being provides with the facility of climatic control along with other facilities like washrooms, electronic safe, Wi-Fi internet, live TV along with satellite channels and also the phone facility. The Dinning halls of Maharaja Express consist of two debonair restaurants and the sitting capacity of each restaurant is 44 guests at one time. The restaurants of this train provide food of various kinds like Indian, Continental, Chinese and others. The dining experience over the journey of Maharajas Express is really an epicurean delight. The food that is being prepared for the guest’s platter is prepared by the top chefs of India having ultimate taste. The guests not only being provided by the best food onboard but also experiences the food of some five star heritage hotels in continuance of the journey of Maharaja Express by which the guests experiences the best international as well as Indian cuisines.
Besides all the above facilities, this train envelopes other facilities like on board stocked bar with various brands and awesome interiors with very fine ambience. An observation lounge along with a library as well as personal bar facility is also available onboard of Maharaja Express. A Boutique with beautiful creations is also available onboard.

The suspension of Maharajas Express is very high-tech providing hydraulic and pneumatic suspension system that provides very smooth journey to the guests. Dining Car
There are basically two restaurants on this train namely Mayur Mahal also called as Peacock Restaurant and the other one is the Rang Mahal that is also called as the Haveli Restaurant. Both the restaurants provide diverse mix of appetizing gastronomy within the ambience of relaxing mood. The capacity of each restaurant is 42 persons in a single time. These simply furnished and peculiarly festooned cabins are being developed keeping a watch over the requirements and the comfort of the guests of Maharaja Express.
Bar
There is also the facility of bar that is stocked by almost all brands named as Safari Bar. This bar serves the finest wine brands and spirits that are international in an attractively manner. The guest over hear can choice there brand by the menu that is being provided by the bar and can enjoy the innovative cocktails.
Bedroom Cabins
In total this train is being provided with fourteen passenger cabins out of which the deluxe cabins are 5, junior suits are 6 and also the presidential suit along with 2 other suits. The bedding facility is in the form of either double bed or twin beds. The direct dialing phone facility, LCD TVs, internet, DVD players, and electronic safe and individual climate control facilities are being provided in all cabins. Integral bathroom with shower has also been provided with each cabin of Maharaja Express.
Lounge
The facility of Club is also being provided for the guests. The Rajah Club is being equipped by an integral bar, games tables and the arm chairs in order to make the guests relax in the laid back mood.
Boutique
There is a boutique named as Treasure Chest that is a very high class boutique from where the guest can purchase the gifts and mementos for the purpose of cherishing the memory during the luxurious journey of this train.

Terms and Conditions
- From September 2012 to April 2014 is the validity of the tariff including suites and cabins as per journey of per candidate. The booking and purchasing is only valid for the full journey.
- Children that are below the age of 5 are allowed to share the double bed with their parents and charged free. This will depend upon the availability of bed at the booking time.
- The children of about 5 to 12 years of age got 50% of fare and also permit to share the bed with their parents. At the time of booking, the availability of bed depends.
- The parents had two children with them used to get a separate cabin and got a fare of 50% of one child and the other one have to charge as per cost of adult.
- The interconnecting cabins are only available for Presidential suite.
- The Maharaja’s express tariff includes all the facilities like guided tours, beverages (wines), all meals, butler service, and fees of entry into the monuments.
- Tariff does not include the laundry, telephone calls, additional beverages, and fees for video cameras.
- There is charter facility available in Maharaja’s express. The guests also book this luxury train for any event excluded the weddings and conferences.
- There will be extra charge for all taxes that are applicable.
- There will be extra charge on the tax of 3.09% for service.
Payment Formalities
- Just before the departure, the total tariff of 25% should be paid for about 90 days and the balance amount will be paid in about 60 days before the departure.
- Before the departure, for about 59 days, the total tariff will be paid 100%.
- The passenger can also pay the total tariff in one journey.
This will be notified that there will e non transferable bookings and cancellation charge will be demanded.
