Chicken Stew
Brief Description
Chicken Stew is a chicken recipe with gravy (mostly liquid) and is very famous in East India and Kerala. In kerala it is specially prepared on the occasion of Christmas. The recipe contains chopped chicken pieced mixed in vegetable curry with less spices and oil.
Preparation Time 25 mins Cooking Time 30 mins Serves 4 Ingredients for Chicken Stew
- 1 Chopped Chicken
- ½ Kg Vegetables
- Garlic Powder – 1 tablespoon
- Kali Mirch – 1 tablespoon
- Paprika - 1 tablespoon
- Mushroom Cream – 2 Cans
- Milk – 1-1/2 cup
- Flour – 1 full Cup
- Salt - 2 tablespoon
- Frying Oil
How to make Chicken Stew
- Mix floor, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 2 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon Paprika and salt & pepper as per taste.
- Coat the chicken pieces with this mixture and deep fry in a frying pan using pure oil for approximately 5 minutes.
- Take a roasting pan place the fried chicken and put vegetables over it.
- In a frying pan mix mushroom cream and milk and put it over the chicken placed in the roasting pan.
- Last step is the baking of chicken in oven at a temperature of 176 degree Celsius and approximately 2 hours.
