Rajasthan Ana Sagar Lake
Ana Sagar Lake is a renowned artificial lake that is situated in Ajmer a city in the western state of Rajasthan in India. Prithvi Raj Chauhan's grandfather Anaji Chauhan had it built. The name Ana given to the lake is derived from his name. Its construction lasted for fifteen years starting from 1135 AD to 1150 AD. The lake's catchments were built by Shah Jahan another Mughal emperor, who was the son and successor of Jahangir, he is also known for building the Taj Mahal.
