Khas Khas Jo Seero Poppy Seeds Halwa

Time to Prepare 15 mins Time to Cook 15 mins Serves 4 Ingredients for Khas Khas jo Seero Poppy Seeds Halwa
- Poppy Seeds-100 g
- Sugar-8 tbsp
- Ghee-8 tbsp
- Milk-½ litre
- Green Cardamoms -8 to 9
- Sliced Almonds -15
How To Make Khas Khas jo Seero Poppy Seeds Halwa
- Penetrate seeds in water for 7-8 hours.
- Clear it properly.
- Take some ghee in a pan.
- Add the seed in ghee and fry it continuously until it gets brown.
- After that add some milk and 2-3 cardamoms. Keep stimulating.
- When the milk is properly dry and some sugar and simmer it on a low flam for 10 minutes remember that it doesn’t stick.
- Simmer it for few minutes.
- Serve hot. Decorate with pieces of almonds.
Some Useful Tips
This recipe is sometimes very difficult for peoples to cook seeds at the exact heat. So one solution is to, firstly boil the milk, add the chuhara, let it dry and then add the seeds. Stimulate it in low flame until milk is absorbed. Add dry fruits and stir well, add ghee, sugar and give it a nice mix. Simmer on low flame, until sugar gets absorbed and ghee separating out.
