Kesar Bati
Brief Description

Preparation Time 15 mins Cooking Time 45 mins Serves 4 Ingredients for Kesar Bati
For The Gulab Jamuns
- Khoya-250 grams
- Floumr aida-5 tbsp
- Cardamom -1/4 tsp
For The Filling
- Chopped pistachios and almonds -1/4 cup each
- Sugar-1 tbsp
- A few saffron strands
- Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
- Ghee for deep-frying
For The Sugar Syrup
- Sugar-3 cups
- A few saffron strands
For The Sugar Syrup
- Make the syrup by completely mixing the sugar in the hot water.
- If required, add the saffron.
For Yhe Gulab Jamuns
- Mix all the given ingredients and form dough.
- Make equal portions of the dough say 15.
- Use one part for the ingredients and keep rest portions as it is.
- Roll out the dough portions into balls with some filling in the centre.
- Do some for all the portions.
- Fry them in ghee over a slow flame until they turn brown.
- Drain it over a tissue paper and transfer into the warm sugar syrup.
- Keep them there for about 20 minutes.
