Tandoori Fish
Brief Description
Tandoori fish is a very famous fish recipe from India. It has easy preparation and is done very quickly. Learn to prepare this recipe at home by following the recipe provided here.
Preparation Time 15 mins Cooking Time 15 mins Serves 4 Ingredients For Tandoori Fish
- fish, cut into pieces- 800 g
- yoghurt- 1½ cup
- Ground dry chilies- 4
- melted butter- 3 tbsp
- ground garlic flakes- 2
- ginger small- 1inch piece
- garam masala- 1tsp
- yellow coloring- 1 drop
- lemon juice- 1 tsp
- salt- 1 tsp
How To Make Tandoori Fish
- Clean and wash the fish and dry it with paper towels.
- Rub salt and lemon juice all over the fish pieces. Set it aside for 20 minutes.
- Mix ginger, chili paste, garam masala, yoghurt, garlic and yellow coloring in a small bowl.
- Pour this mixture over the pieces of fish.
- Keep it aside for 4 hours at room temperature.
- Place the marinated pieces of fish in a baking dish and bake at 205° C till fish is golden light brown in color
- Use melted butter for basting during the baking process from time to time.
- Take it out after being done and garnish with onion slices and lemon wedges.
