Sweet and Sour Fish
Brief Description

Preparation Time 15 mins Cooking Time 15 mins Serves 4 Ingredients For Sweet and Sour Fish
- boneless Fish- 15 pieces
- Corn Flour / Corn Starch- 2 ½ tbsp
- Soya Sauce- 1 ½ tbsp
- tbsp Vinegar- 1 ½
- Chicken Stock- ¾ cup
- Chopped spring onions- 3 tbsp
- Tomato Sauce- 2 tbsp
- Ginger Paste- 1 tsp
- Salt as needed
- Pepper Powder as required
- Sugar- 1 ½ tbsp
- Ajinomoto- A pinch
- Oil- 2 tbsp
How To Make Sweet and Sour Fish
- Mix 1 tbsp corn flour, pepper, 1 tbsp soy sauce and salt in a bowl.
- Drop in the fish pieces and coat them fully with the above made mixture.
- Heat oil for deep frying in wok. Fry the fish pieces till they turn golden brown.
- Take another pan and heat 2 tbsp oil in it. Add in onions, ginger paste, salt, pepper and Ajinomoto. Cook it all for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken stock, corn flour, sugar, vinegar and soy sauce. Bring it to a boil.
- Stir in corn flour while stirring slowly to avoid lumps.
- Put in the fried fish pieces and let it simmer for a minute or two.
- Serve hot, straight from the flames.
