Salmon Pie
Brief Description
Salmon Pie is a recipe where salmon is baked as a filling for the pie. It’s a very tasty, spicy and filling meal. Follow this recipe to prepare Salmon Pie in an easy and simple manner.
Preparation Time 15 minutes Cooking Time 15 minutes Serves 4 Ingredients For Salmon Pie
- Mashed potatoes- 3-1/2 cups
- Finely chopped onion- 1
- Milk- 1/3 cup
- Celery seed- ½ tsp
- Garlic powder- ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- White pepper- ¼ tsp
- Salmon pieces- 1 can
- Minced parsley- 2 tbsp
- Double crust pie pastry
- Egg- 1
- Water- 1 tbsp
How To Make Salmon Pie
- Take bowl and combine onions, potatoes, celery seeds, milk, pepper, garlic powder and pepper. Add the salmon pieces and chopped parsley. Mix them all well.
- Take the pastry sheet and lay it on the baking dish. Spread the salmon filling on it.
- Cover it up and seal the filling inside pastry. Take egg and water and beat them together. Then brush up the top of pie with this.
- Bake it at 350°C and serve hot once done.
