Rice Tuna Salad

Preparation Time 15 minutes Cooking Time 15 minutes Serves 4 Ingredients For Rice Tuna Salad
- Long grain rice- 2 cups
- Water- 4 cups
- Chopped romaine lettuce-1
- Grated carrot- 1
- Albacore tuna, drained and flaked- 1 can/ 7 ounce
- Olive oil- 3tbsp
- Balsamic vinegar- 4 tbsp
- Salt as needed
- Black pepper- ¼ tsp
How To Make Rice Tuna Salad
- Take a sauce pan and cook rice in it with the amount of water as mentioned. Bring it all to a boil and then lower the flames and let it simmer for 20 minutes or till rice is done and there is no water left. Take the rice out and cool it for 5 minutes.
- Take bowl and mix tuna, carrot and romaine lettuce in it. Drizzle olive oil and vinegar all over the mixture and season with black pepper and salt. Make sure that all is mixed well. Toss in the rice with this mixture. Taste and adjust the amounts of seasoning if needed. Serve immediately and keep in mind this recipe doesn’t keep well for long times.
