Fish Korma
Brief Description
Fish Korma is a tasty dish. It is spicy also. It is originated from Mughal cuisine of Indian Subcontinent.
Preparation Time 15 mins Cooking Time 30 mins Serves 4 Ingredients For Fish Korma
- Large Fish - 1 kg
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Paste of onion - 1/2 cup
- Paste of Ginger - 2 teaspoon
- Paste of Garlic - 1 teaspoon
- Paste of coriander - 1 tablespoon
- Cardamom - 6
- Cinnamon – 1” size
- Salt - 2 teaspoon
- Oil or ghee - 3/4 cup
- Green chili - 6
- Kewra - 2 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
How To Make Fish Korma
- Take the single piece of fish. Do not cut it into pieces.
- Add all the ingredients except Kewra and green chilies into the dish used for cooking. Stir it well. Cover the dish with lid and cook over low flame.
- Turn over the fish atleast once. But be careful while turning the fish.
- As all the water gets dried, then add Kewra and green chili to the mixture and cook for another half hour over a low flame.
- Cook till the oil starts floating on top of the dish.
- Fish korma is ready to serve. Serve it with rice or Tandoori roti.
