Onion Chutney
Brief Description
Onions are one of the most used food items. Onions can not only be used just as an ingredient but also as chutney. Find a simple recipe below to make onion chutney.
Time to Prepare 15 minutes Cooking Time 15 minutes Serves 0 Ingredients For Onion Chutney
- peeled onions- 1 cup
- garlic flakes- 6 to 7
- channa daal- 2 tbsp
- red chilies- 5
- salt as needed
- mustard seeds- 1 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Tamarind- small
How To Make Onion Chutney
- Take a pan and heat oil in it. Fry chilies, garlic, onions and daal till they turn golden brown.
- Transfer it all to a grinder. Add salt and tamarind in it before grinding the mixture.
- In a pan heat some oil and splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves. Pour this over the onion mix and the onion chutney is ready.
- It goes extremely well with puris and paranthas.
