Dry Fish Chutney
Brief Description
This is non vegetarian chutney made up of dried fish as main ingredients. Just follow the steps provided below to prepare this recipe at home in an easy manner
Time to Prepare 4-6 minutes Cooking Time 30 minutes Serves 0 Ingredients For Dry Fish Chutney
- 250 gm of Dried Salted Fish
- ¾ to 1 tsp of Red chili powder
- ¼ tsp of Turmeric powder
- 2-3 Shallots
- 1 clove Garlic
- 8-9 red chilies
- 3-4 Curry Leaves
How To Make Dry Fish Chutney
- Salted dry fish should be kept in water for 4-6 hours.
- Take out the fish and drain out any excess water. Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and chili powder. Set it aside for 15 min.
- Take pan and heat 2 tbsp oil in it and add the fish pieces to it for frying. Keep frying the fish pieces until they turn reddish brown. Use paper towels to soak up any excess oil.
- Take a mixer jar and put in garlic, curry leaves, shallots, chilies and fried fish. Now pulse the mixer 3-4 times and the chutney is ready.
